Section 30
Religious forests can be withdrawn
(1) In the religious forest assigned under section 28, if the related religious body group or community commits an act contrary to section 29 or fails to carry out the work required to be done in the religious forest or does not follow the things required to be followed in accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act, the Divisional Forest Officer shall Can decide to take back the religious forest. But before taking the decision to take back the religious forest, the relevant religious body group or community will be given a reasonable opportunity to submit their clarification.
(2) A person who is not satisfied with the decision made by the Divisional Forest Officer in accordance with sub-section (1) may appeal to the State Forest Director within thirty-five days from the date of receipt of the notice by the religious body group or community.
(3) The decision made by the Provincial Forest Director in relation to the complaint received under sub-section (2) shall be final.
